📣 we are putting out one last request for camp volunteers! 📣We have quite the list of campers this year with a few days left for registration. With that being said, we need more camp buddies, at this time we are looking for 5-10 more buddies to be paired up with campers.

Good Samaritan Hospice is inviting you to get to know our caregivers. Hospice is home to many compassionate and knowledgeable caregivers. This department offers patients compassionate end-of-life care, as well as hosts friendly faces like nurse, Jessica Beaman. Jessica has been a nurse for 17 years and is one of our on-call nurses.

When asked what she loves most about her job, Jessica said, "It is a very special thing to be able to provide dignity and comfort to patients in their most vulnerable moments. Also, being able to provide support for families in such an emotional time is something they will always remember. The end of life is so often overlooked, and being able to make such a difference in these moments for people is like no other field."

A common misconception with hospice is that you need to be home bound in order be on service. We like to tell our patients and their families that hospice is LIVING. Take this time to experience what you enjoy while you still can.

The office of Good Samaritan Hospice and Pallaitive Care will be closed in observance of Labor Day. On-call coverage is available for emergencies.

We will resume normal business hours tomorrow.

August 30, 2025 is National Grief Awareness Day, remember grief doesn’t have to be lonely and here at Good Samaritan Hospice, we offer a variety of services not only to our hospice families, but to our community as well, free of charge.
