Thank you, Dixie B Ice Cream for coming out and giving us delicious treats. The residents' and staff enjoyed our nice refresher ranging from drumsticks, Ice cream sandwiches, bomb pops and etc. If you would to visit them, they're in Monroe City on Sundays.

After dinner and musical entertainment, we headed out to the back parking lot around 9:45 pm for our firework Extravaganza. Thank you, to all our staff that helped out to make this a memorable day.

Happy 4th of July, yesterday we had a wonderful cookout with our close family and friends. Our wonderful kitchen made a delicious meal included: smoked pulled pork, grilled hot dogs, mac n cheese, baked beans, potato salad, homegrown sweet corn and tomatoes and cobblers. After dinner we had musical entertainment by Terry Lee and fireworks. Thank you to everyone that came out and celebrated this special day.

Today, we said "goodbye" to two special employees very dear to our hearts. These beautiful ladies have accepted jobs with Good Samaritan Hospital. They will be missed by residents' and staff. Good luck in your next chapter of life. It's not goodbye but see you later.
