You are not alone Heart to Heart is a private, non-profit organization that believes every woman's situation is unique and needs to be handled personally by people who care about the challenges she faces, while protecting her confidentiality. We offer a wide range of services, including: pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, private counseling, abortion risks/procedural information, post-abortion counseling, prenatal information, parenting classes, mentoring programs, material assistance, life skills training, and budgeting. All services are free; a voucher program helps women earn the material assistance they need.

💜 Today our Heart to Heart team proudly wore purple in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness efforts. 💜 Thank you to Hope’s Voice for their purple pumpkin!

We stand together in support of those impacted by domestic violence and remain committed to walking alongside individuals and families as they seek hope, healing, and safety.

Collaboration and compassion are at the heart of what we do, and together, we believe in building a future free from violence.

💝 Thank You, Happy Hoopers! 💝

Happy Hoopers blesses us with beautiful matching sets of bags, bibs, blankets, burp pads, and stuffies for our new mom gifts at Good Samaritan Hospital.

These thoughtful creations allow us to fill each gift bag with their handmade treasures, plus new outfits and other baby essentials. Every baby born in Knox County is welcomed into the world with love, value, and care.

Being the village means making sure every family leaves the hospital knowing they are supported and cherished—and Happy Hoopers helps us do just that! 🍼✨

❤️ From Our Hearts to Yours ❤️

We want to take a moment to share our heart behind our emergency assistance policy, as we’ve seen an uptick in calls and hurt feelings when policy is enforced. Our policy allows emergency assistance once every six months. If a parent needs help again, we do continue to offer assistance through our Earn While You Learn program.

Every caller is offered an intake and support options, even if they’ve reached out multiple times. What we cannot do is bend the 6-month policy for those who are not willing to engage in classes. Our classes are designed to equip and encourage parents, and we do everything possible to make them accessible:

✨ Trolley just a few blocks away
✨ Flexible pacing, you set your schedule, not us

We are trying our very best to care for as many families as possible, but we also believe in equipping parents to grow stronger for their children. Assistance works best when paired with effort, and we will not simply hand out without partnership.

Friends of Heart to Heart, as the seasons change, so do the needs of the little ones we serve. We are currently in need of fall and winter clothing sizes 9 months through 5T.

Looking for a free way to support us? As you go through your kiddos closet in preparation for the next season, remember our mommas! Coats, sweaters, pants, shoes, and everyday outfits are always a blessing to our families.

Your donations help fill our boutique shelves and directly support moms, dads and their children. 💙

🎉 Today marks a HUGE milestone at Heart to Heart! 🎉

Nurse Courtney completed the 200th, 201st, and 202nd ultrasounds on our machine today! What is even more incredible? 161 of those ultrasounds have taken place since 2023 alone.

💙 Even more amazing, Courtney has personally completed 132 of those ultrasounds herself! Her dedication and compassion has touched so many lives, giving women the clarity and confidence they need to take their next step.

Every scan represents more than just a number. It’s a story, a heartbeat, and a moment of hope for the women and families we serve. We are so thankful for our team, our supporters, and every woman who has trusted us to walk alongside her. 💕

💜 Creating a Safe Space for Every Client 💜

We want to publicly acknowledge the ways we address domestic violence, both to reassure our community and to encourage other resources to share their own tips and maybe borrow some of ours.

At Heart to Heart, we know that safety isn’t just about physical health, it’s about emotional and relational safety too. That’s why we take intentional steps to support clients who may be experiencing domestic violence.

🛑 We never leave identifying voicemails or messages unless a client has given us permission.
📄 Domestic violence resources are discreetly available in all bathrooms.
🌎 We provide fully translated signage so every client can understand their options.
🖊 Urine tests are marked in a way that allows our staff to speak with one partner privately, if needed.
🎓 All volunteers and staff are trained to recognize warning signs and use appropriate, compassionate screening methods for domestic violence.
🤝 We work closely with trusted domestic violence organizations to ensure every client can access help and protection.
