Labor of Love Doula Services

Labor of Love Doula Services Birth Doula services, childbirth education & breastfeeding education. I am a mama of 3 who is passionate about all things pregnancy birth and breastfeeding.

After having a traumatic birth with my first baby in 2014 I was determined to have the birth of my dreams the next time around. My midwife suggested I hire a Doula. I had never heard of that before and after extensive research hired one for my next two pregnancies. My second pregnancy I ended up having a C-section at 35 weeks after having preterm labor and a cord prolapse. My third and birth I fin

ally had what I had always dreamed of. I couldn’t have had a natural delivery without the encouragement, love and support of my amazing doula. I don’t know why I had to go through all of those storms but I believe that God wants to use my experience to help others. I feel called to be a doula and join women on their special journey into motherhood. Everyone deserves encouragement, love and support.

SO amazing & it’s local 😂

Breastmilk isn’t just nourishment.
It’s nature’s remedy.

Got a sick baby?
Your milk shifts.
It creates antibodies designed to fight exactly what they’re battling.

Teething troubles?
Your milk steps up with natural pain relief.

Growth spurt?
It boosts fat and calories to fuel their needs.

On a hot day?
It transforms into the perfect hydration.

Breastmilk is alive.
It’s personalized.
It’s always evolving for your baby.

It’s comfort.
It’s connection.
It’s immunity.

It’s extraordinary.

The human body is a marvel.
And breastfeeding?
It’s pure magic.

I’d love to help you celebrate your breastfeeding journey with a piece of breastmilk jewellery!

Have you been recommended for an induction of labour when:

📌 You’re healthy,
📌 Your baby does not appear to be in any distress,
📌 Your pregnancy has been uncomplicated so far and is going smoothly?

If the answer to any or all of these is yes, and induction of labour is being recommended, it’s vital that you understand WHY.

And remember… hospital policy is not law.

Equally important is to understand what the possible implications are if you do choose to go down that road.

Of course, there will be times when induction of labour IS necessary, for the benefit of the mother, the baby or both. And in these situations, medical intervention such as induction of labour, can be a blessing.

However, UNNECESSARY intervention is often where the ‘cascade of intervention’ begins…

Induction of labour is becoming increasingly common in the busy hospital system, so here’s a handy list of everything you should discuss to make sure you’re fully informed and confident when you make your decision:

📝 the benefits,
📝 the risks,
📝 the alternatives,
📝 your right to decline or say “no”,
📝 your right to accept,
📝 your right to say, “I will wait”,
📝 your right to seek another professional opinion.

You have the right to know what inducing labour outside of an emergency situation could mean for you and your baby – not just while you’re giving birth, but with breastfeeding as well.

Remember, the choices you make now can influence your birth and breastfeeding journey.

It’s your body, your baby and your journey, so let it be your decision.

Our society tells us that babies need to be trained to sleep. But the truth is we can't teach them to sleep any more than we can teach them to walk.
