The Arc of Cumberland County is committed to securing for all people with developmental disabilities the opportunity to make personal decisions, often in conjunction with their family members, and to realize personal goals of where and how they learn, live, work, and play.

The Arc of Cumberland County is further committed to reducing the incidence and limiting the consequence of developmental disabilities through the education, research, advocacy, and the support of families, friends and other members of the community at large.

Through the successful pursuit of quality services, information, and activities, the Arc of Cumberland County will provide leadership in the field of developmental disabilities throughout the county.

Furthermore, the Arc of Cumberland County will seek to develop the necessary human and financial resources to make this mission a reality.
