We are so excited to welcome Dr. Kenya Garcia to our team !
Dr Kenya Garcia began her journey in eye care at Camden County College, where she earned an Associate's degree in Opthalmic Science and obtained her Opthalmic Dispenser license.
She went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Business Management with a minor in Biology from Rutgers University. Dr Garcia then received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas.
During her externship at the San Antonio Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), she developed a strong interest in ocular disease, which led her to complete a postdoctoral residency in ocular disease and glaucoma at the Wilmington VAMC in Delaware.
Fluent in Spanish and born & raised in Cumberland County, Dr. Garcia is proud to serve the community that helped shape her. When not seeing patients, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter-they particularly enjoy spending time outdoors, traveling and exploring new restaurants.
