I am coming to you with a heavy heart as this was not an easy decision for my family. We have come to the decision that we will be closing Leslie’s Pharmacy at the end of September. Our last business day will be Saturday, September 28th.

It’s a very difficult world to navigate as an Independent Pharmacy. It’s not a lucrative business as many expect, except for the insurance companies and the drug companies. Independents suffer the most due to the financial instability of the healthcare climate with no corporate overhead for insurance underpayments. We tried our best to continue on, but the time has come for us to say good bye.

We can’t thank our customers and the island community enough for all the support over the years since we bought the business in 2003. Our family has truly enjoyed serving our community.

During the next 2 weeks, we will be filling prescriptions with the stock we have, but will not be placing any new orders. Also, we will help you move your existing refills to your pharmacy of choice.
