The H**p Mill — A Grateful Goodbye 🎃

Vinton, VA | 2018 – 2025

Seven years ago this Halloween, The H**p Mill opened its doors for the first time — a place for community, conversation, education, and support. What began as a small dream quickly grew into a circle of hundreds of friends who walked through our doors, shared their stories, and built something truly special here in Vinton.

We’ve laughed, learned, and healed together. Some of those dear friends are no longer with us — like the gentleman who bought a h**p scarf for his last trip to see his son, and the young woman who faced brain cancer with courage and grace. Their spirits and stories are forever woven into the fabric of The H**p Mill. 💚

As we reach Halloween 2025, the H**p Mill’s online accounts will be archived, closing this chapter but leaving behind a legacy of connection and care.

To each of you — thank you for your trust, your conversations, and your kindness. You have been a blessing.
May your journey ahead be filled with continued happiness, adventure, and peace.

Dear Valued Friends and Customers

After 7 wonderful years of owning and hosting businesses in the Vinton community, the time has come for me to retire and close this chapter of my life. This decision comes with a full heart and deep gratitude for the many relationships, memories, and milestones shared along the way.
From the beginning in 2018, The H**p Mill and Buffies Kitchen have been more than just a business - it has been a part of my life's purpose. Whether you visited once or were a "family" member, your trust and support made all of the difference. I've been incredibly honored to be a part of your lives-helping you find just what you needed, solving problems, sharing stories and growing alongside you and your families.
As I step away, I want to leave you in good hands. For your special needs for well being, skin care and quality of life, I recommend Earth's Essential Apothecary. Amber Fleming and her team at Earth's Essential Apothecary share the same values that built the H**p Mill and Buffies Kitchen: dedication, integrity, and genuine care of every customer. I'm confident they will continue to offer the same level of quality and service you've come to expect. She is a part of this community and a steward of the land we call home.
