After going through serious health issues, my wife and I decided to "get our affairs in order" which included the purchase of a cemetery plot and a cremation monument. We were so impressed by the quality, craftsmanship, and customer service provided by Lewiston Monument Company that we decided to represent the company. After a 35 year career as a public servant, I now devote my time to help my fri

ends and neighbors at their time of need or when they pre-plan to lessen the burden on their loved ones. We have thousands of satisfied customers and we hope to add you to our list. Purchasing a memorial does not have to be a complicated process if you keep in mind the basic steps;
(1) Choose Granite color
(2) Choose the Shape - Flat, Bevel, Upright, etc. (3) Choose the design or give a description of your own design

Vinton Monuments has been sold! Due to declining health, I have sold the business that has served Benton County since 2016. I will continue to serve customers who have placed orders until the monument has been placed.
Phillip Close has taken over the monument cleaning business and can be reached at 319-560-4177. Phil has been trained in the proper techniques of cleaning granite, bronze and other materials found in cemeteries. Phil offers solutions which you will find to be affordable and readily available.
Breakenridge Memorials has been serving the neighboring communities to Vinton for the past 27 years and is looking forward to continuing with the same care and compassion Benton County has been used to with Tom and Vinton Monuments. Breakenridge Memorials will be located in the same location Vinton Monuments has been, 311 South K Avenue.
They will be open beginning August 12 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, as well as by appointment. They can be reached at 319-830-9996 in Vinton or 319-988-4051 at their showroom north of Traer. You can also find them on Facebook or at www.breakenridgememorials.com.

To my customers who I've been honored to serve

I have let you down and I truly am sorry. I've been hospitalized and I'm now in ICU at UI.

Pending orders and drawings are being processed and I'm looking at a few options to make sure you get the service you deserve and expect.

Live each day to the fullest and find something every day you can laugh at. None of us are guaranteed tomorrow.

Due to declining health, I will be closing Vinton Monuments on July 18, 2024. I will continue to serve my customers who have ordered, and the monument is not yet set.

Phillip and Haley Close have taken over the cleaning part of the business and I hope you can extend to him the same courtesies given me. Phil uses industry standards for methods and solutions for cleaning monuments. Please call Phillip at 319-560-4177 or Haley at 319-558-6880 for a quote.

In the next few weeks, we will be making an announcement on a new monument supplier coming to Vinton.
