We need your help still let’s make this Christmas we’re no family goes without.

🚨🎄 FINAL 5 DAYS — NORTH MAC COMMUNITY, WE NEED YOU 🎄🚨

We are officially down to the last five days to complete the North Mac Christmas Meal Project, and we are reaching out one final time to ask for your help. ❤️

We are preparing 150 complete Christmas meals for local families (75 for Virden & 75 for Girard).
The hams have already been ordered through County Market, but we still need help covering costs and completing each meal.

💚 WHAT WE STILL NEED MOST:
• Monetary donations to help pay for the hams and remaining expenses
• Side items to complete each family’s Christmas dinner

Even $5 makes a difference.
Anything you are willing to give — big or small — truly helps us reach the finish line.

🌿 A Little Note From Neatos Elements 🌿

Good morning, everyone. I wanted to take a moment to share a gentle reminder and a little bit of honesty from our small, family-run shop.

Yesterday we had to close unexpectedly. I live with Meniere’s disease, and between the weather and nonstop days, my health needed a moment of rest. My daughters were both at their other jobs, and my husband was out delivering Amazon, so there wasn’t anyone available to cover. I was extremely dizzy and unwell, and in our family—just like in yours—health always comes first.

Today, I’m feeling much better, and I’m grateful for that. But I also want to kindly remind everyone that we are truly a mom-and-pop shop. When life happens, when someone gets sick, or when schedules collide, sometimes we have no choice but to close our doors for the day.

I don’t owe explanations for personal or medical situations, but I chose to share this because transparency matters—and so does kindness. When I open the door for someone outside of normal hours or on a tough day, please come in with the same kindness and respect we show our community every single day. We pour our hearts into fundraisers, events, charity drives, and supporting our town however we can.

All we ask in return is a little grace and understanding.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support us, love us, and lift us up. 💛

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, we are unable to open today. We truly apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding as we navigate being short staffed and a bit under the weather.

We also want to take a moment to remind everyone how important it is to shop local. Supporting small businesses keeps our community alive, thriving, and filled with unique places that make Virden special. Your support genuinely matters.
