There are currently over 600 million facebook users worldwide (last summer the # of users was 400 million). The bottom line is if you own a business, and that business is not taking advantage of having a facebook presence yet, then you are missing out on a great no or low cost opportunity. I spoke with one of Ava's customers this morning. A family recently visited this business and purchased a couple of items. As it turns out, they said that had it not been for the business's Custom Facebook Fan Page, they would have never even known that the business existed. - Todd (Ava's dad)

I was listening to the Kramer Show on WMAY the other day while on the way to pick the kids up from school. Kramer who is somewhat opinionated said that business owners who don't have facebook fan pages for their businesses are "MORONS"! I'm not sure that I'd use that strong of a word, but I definitely believe they're missing out on a no-cost marketing opportunity! - Todd (Ava's dad)

Ava started her own business making Custom Facebook Fan Pages in July 2010. She enjoys it. Her mother and I are both proud of her for taking the initiative. She made some money over the summer. As a parent, I was glad that she quit pestering us to buy her every little thing. :-)
