Three years ago I added the active shooter training to the summer camp curriculum. The children I worked with couldn’t believe that was part of the independent living workshops that I facilitated but I know they appreciate the drills and techniques learned on days like today. No parent ever wants to receive information that your child is in harms way in one of the safest places they could be, this is so heartbreaking. Praying for the families and children of Heritage High.
