Hey y’all 👋🏽 Here are some random midwife thoughts I’d like to share:

📌Please stop using boric acid suppositories for everything. I’d love to explain why. Make an appointment to come see me!
📌Probiotics for vaginal health are the bomb. Ask your provider what brand they recommend.
📌No one is paying attention to your feet or if you shaved. I’m just happy that you kept your appointment!
📌 Providers should stop making women feel bad by telling them that their “cervix is tilted.” The most important thing is that you brought it with you (lol). I’ll find it.
📌 Let’s normalize pelvic floor physical therapy. We should start ordering pelvic floor physical therapy for every pregnant and postpartum individual. Not to mention that it’s great for so many other conditions . . .
📌 There is not one single lab that can test for perimenopause. It’s mostly a clinical diagnosis based on the symptoms you experience.
