POV: I’m just shredding chicken… but also thinking about how if men experienced even a fraction of the physical trauma that can happen during childbirth, pelvic rehab would be the standard—not the exception.
We’d have zero stigma.
Zero “just deal with it.”
Zero normalization of leaking, pain, or dysfunction.
And yet… here we are.
If you’ve been told it’s “normal” to:
• leak a little
• have pain with intimacy
• feel heaviness or pressure
• not feel like yourself in your body
…it might be common, but it’s not something you have to live with.
Pelvic floor PT exists for a reason—and you deserve that level of care, too.
Your body went through something major. Let’s treat it that way.

04/23/2026

Most people are surprised when we treat the neck in pelvic floor PT… but it makes sense when you zoom out.

Your pelvic floor, core, diaphragm, and neck are all connected through one pressure + tension system.
If something is off at the pelvis, your body compensates—and the neck often takes the hit.

So yes, we treat the neck.
Because we’re also treating what’s driving the tension.

Using IMES dry needling, we help calm the nervous system and release those deeper connections—so you’re not just getting temporary relief, you’re getting real change.

Treat the neck 🤝 treat the root cause.

Headaches, tension, not going away?
It might be time to connect the dots.

✨ Book your evaluation at Her Health Therapy Center + start treating the source—not just the symptoms.

Such a fun morning at the Crush N Run 5K 🏃‍♀️✨

Our PT team showed up strong—hitting the course and hanging at our booth connecting with so many of you. We loved running with you, cheering you on, then diving into conversations about pelvic health and what’s actually “normal” (hint: leaking, pain, or pressure don’t have to be).

Being able to combine movement, community, and education is exactly why we do what we do 💛

Thanks to everyone who stopped by, asked questions, and trusted us with your stories—we’re always here to support you on and off the course.

If running (or life) doesn’t feel quite right in your body, let’s change that 💪

“I only…” 🙃

“I only have a little pain”
“I only p*e myself a little”
“I only have to wear a pad”
“I only gave up jumping”
“I only p**p 2x/week”

…yeah, we’re not doing that anymore 👋

These aren’t “just part of being a woman”
They’re signs your body needs support — and you deserve better than managing, avoiding, or shrinking your life around symptoms.

✨ No more minimizing
✨ No more normalizing dysfunction
✨ No more excuses

Pelvic floor PT can help you move, laugh, jump, and live without planning around your bladder or bowels.

You don’t have to settle for “only”

Hot flashes, brain fog, disrupted sleep, mood swings, stubborn weight changes… and somehow still expected to function like nothing’s changed. 🫠

Perimenopause and menopause can feel confusing, isolating, and honestly—downplayed. But these symptoms are real, common, and treatable.

Our team recently sat down with FNP to dive deeper into what women are actually experiencing in this phase of life and how we can better support them—both from a pelvic health and whole-body perspective. 🤍

And here’s the part not talked about enough👇
Pelvic floor physical therapy is essential during this season.

Hormonal changes can impact your pelvic floor—leading to symptoms like urinary urgency or leakage, pelvic pressure, pain with intimacy, and core weakness. Pelvic floor PT helps you:
✨ Improve bladder and bowel control
✨ Reduce pain and discomfort
✨ Support core strength and stability
✨ Feel more confident in your body again

Paired with the right medical support, this can be a game changer.

She’s an incredible resource when it comes to navigating hormones, understanding your options, and creating a plan that actually fits you.

You don’t have to “just deal with it.”
You deserve answers, support, and care that evolves with your body.

✨ If you’ve been struggling, this is your sign to reach out, ask questions, and build your team.

That “everything feels heavy down there” feeling after a run? You’re not alone—and you don’t have to just push through it.

Try this reset 👇
🚽 First stop: the bathroom (empty the bladder = less pressure)
🛏 Then give your body a minute: lay down with hips elevated + feet up
🌬 Add some slow, deep breathing (think rib cage expansion, not pushing down)
🍑 Finish with a few gentle bridges to help everything reposition and support

Your pelvic floor just worked hard—this is how you support it after 💛

If heaviness is happening often, that’s your sign to dig deeper. You deserve to run AND feel good doing it.

✨ Ready for real answers + a plan that actually works? We’ve got you. Book a pelvic floor evaluation at Her Health Therapy Center—we’ll help you get back to running confidently and symptom-free.
