Today's VBMRC is from the Celebrating Children event at Mount Trashmore Park on April 27th! We helped staff the first aid tent. While it was a little chilly, it was great to see everyone!

A to one of the VBMRC's favorite March traditions - supporting the Yuengling Shamrock Marathon weekend!

This year was the 52nd anniversary of this race, and VBMRC volunteers contributed over 130 hours serving in medical tents, at water stations, and in other race support efforts!

VBMRC volunteers went to two high schools today for back-to-school immunization clinics - these photos are from the Landstown High School clinic!

Yesterday's Back-to-School Immunization Clinic at Princess Anne Middle School was a huge success, with over 30 students receiving vaccines!

Partnering with VBCPS means the VBMRC continues to go mobile and set up clinics where and when we can to help get protective and necessary vaccines into the community. Thanks VBMRC volunteers, and thank you to our partners in Virginia Beach!

Last Sunday several of our VBMRC volunteers supported our local Shamrock Marathon event! This is one of our beloved traditions here in Virginia Beach and we're so glad the VBMRC can assist as partners! 🍀

The amount of sensitive paperwork generated at the health department requires regular destruction!!💥

Nancy is the latest VBMRC volunteer to provide administrative assistance to the office at the VBDPH - VBMRC volunteers regularly assist in all types of office work across departments. It's a valuable service and we thank all our office volunteers for their help!

VBMRC volunteer Margot assisted last weekend at the Special Olympics Speed Skating Championship!

The VBMRC is so proud to help out with this annual event and we're glad it happens in Virginia Beach so we can continue to do so! Congratulations to all the amazing athletes, and a special congratulations to the winners! 🏅

VBMRC's very own superstar David Contois led a Stop the Bleed Training for other VBMRC volunteers on Feb. 8th! 👏

The VBMRC has been working hard to establish more training opportunities for volunteers, led by volunteers - all part of our train-the-trainer program we've been working on to help keep the VBMRC ready for emergencies big and small! Thanks to everyone who participated yesterday and we hope you had fun during David's fabulous course!
