Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home & Rosewood Memorial Park Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home has been an important member of the Virginia Beach community since 1956.

Our staff is committed to assisting families when they need guidance. We are here to support you whether it is during your time of need or if you wish to prepare in advance. Our location is comprised of 16 beautiful gardens, eight mausoleums, a peaceful cremation garden with brick niches and an ossuary, and a variety of areas for private estates. Throughout the years of preparing for the needs of our families, we have developed a variety of gardens and buildings to keep families together forever. In honor of military and public servants, we have the Tidewater Veterans' Memorial Garden and the Garden of Valor. These gardens display monuments, flags and benches honoring those who have served our country. In our Chapel of Serenity mausoleum building, the Court of Military Honor proudly displays bronze plaques representing each branch of the service. It also has many seating areas and a small, open chapel for services or visitations. At the front entrance of our park, our Public Servants Memorial honors firefighters and police officers whose lives were lost in the line of duty.

Our Story

Bright And Airy Funeral Home

In 1995, our funeral home was built on cemetery property to better serve Virginia Beach families. Unlike many traditional funeral home facilities, ours is light, airy and spacious. Our large chapel has pew-style seating that can accommodate approximately 250 guests. It has a beautiful stained-glass window and 2 flat-screen TVs for displaying tribute videos. We have 2 visitation rooms that were recently renovated with modern furniture and soft, neutral wall colors to create a comforting ambiance. These rooms can be used for catered receptions before or after the service as well.

Rosewood Memorial Park Cemetery

Rosewood Memorial Park encompasses 55 acres of meticulously landscaped grounds adorned with magnificent Italian white marble monuments as well as crepe myrtle, cherry and magnolia trees. It is a quiet and picturesque setting in which to honor the memory of your loved one. It is considered 1 of the finest cemeteries in the Tidewater region.
