We are excited to welcome Alexis Gurecki, MPA, PA-C to our team at GATGI! She is a compassionate and experienced physician assistant specializing in gastroenterology. A Hampton Roads native, she earned her Bachelor’s in Psychology with a Biology minor from the University of Virginia and her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Eastern Virginia Medical School, where she was inducted into the Pi Alpha Honor Society and received the Paragon Award. Alexis is board-certified by the NCCPA and brings nearly two decades of experience providing patient-centered care in both outpatient and hospital settings.

Beginning her career in ENT and Allergy, Alexis transitioned to gastroenterology, where she uses her listening skills and collaborative approach to develop comprehensive treatment plans. She is passionate about patient education, mentorship of PA students, and creating strong patient-provider relationships. Outside of work, Alexis enjoys exploring the outdoors with her family—from beaches to mountains. Her dedication and expertise make her a trusted provider at GATGI.
