Challenge the trainer in a ladder style row/push up combo for bragging right? Mark said sign me up and took on Derek for this epic post workout upper body burnout.

The weights started at 25 and ended at 50 with each set of dumbbells requiring a push up and a single arm row.

While it was a close battle, Mark took the victory. Perhaps a rematch is in Derek’s future?

Clients, be on high alert. Your trainer may try to sneak this in to finish off your arms. You’ve been warned!

Yeah, there are early mornings and lots of “just one more rep” negotiations… but having awesome clients makes this job the best.

POV: your trainer underestimates how strong you’ve gotten and gives you light dumbbells which feels a little disrespectful.

Because picking up heavier dumbbells….thats powerful, especially when you are picking up a weight that used to intimidate but is now a part of your normal routine.

Every heavier dumbbell is proof that consistency pays off, that you’re stronger than you were before, and that your hard work is paying off. Keep going for the heavier weights….your trainers love it!

Huge congratulations to all of the amazing Unify members and trainer Brandon who took on yesterday’s Virginia Beach 10 Miler and 5k races! What an amazing accomplishment to complete such a grueling race….especially one that brought a little rain along the way.

Sometimes the smartest move isn’t pushing harder toward the same goal — it’s pausing long enough to ask whether the goal still fits who you are and where you’re headed.

Reevaluating your goals can help you:
▪️Let go of outdated expectations
▪️Refocus your energy on what actually matters
▪️Adjust to new opportunities, priorities, or seasons of life
▪️Prevent burnout from chasing things that no longer align
▪️Build goals based on growth, not pressure

Changing direction doesn’t mean you failed. It means you’re paying attention.

The people who grow the most aren’t always the ones who stick rigidly to a plan — they’re the ones willing to adapt with intention. A goal that served you a year ago may not be the right goal today, and that’s okay. Growth often looks like refinement, not just persistence.

And who knows? Maybe your goal is simply to wear cute gym fits that scream spring like Sheryl and Sharon. After all, cute outfits do make you work out harder.

Unify’s 30 Club keeps growing, and we love to see it!

Octavya just joined the 30 Club — pressing 30 lb dumbbells for 10 reps!

When she started training with Katie back in September, she was working with 8 lb weights on this same exercise. Through steady effort, consistency, and pushing past comfort zones, she’s built incredible strength and confidence.

This is what progress looks like — not overnight, but earned rep by rep.

Let’s give Octavya some love for the hard work!
