Your grip strength matters more than you think 💪!

Grip strength isn’t just about opening jars or deadlifting heavy weight — it’s a powerful indicator of overall health and longevity.

Here’s why it’s important:

▪️Full-body strength: Your hands are the connection point for rows, pull-ups, deadlifts, carries, and more. A weak grip limits total strength gains.

At Unify we love celebrating our members and watching them get stronger every session! When you get started with us, your trainer quickly learns what your specific strength training goals are and develops a plan to help you get there.

Improving upper body strength and joining the 30s Club are often on the list of training goals our female clients hope to achieve. Pressing 30lb dumbbells for 10 reps may seem challenging at first, but we will work with you to build up those chest muscles and make it happen.

Something about a new month just feels like a fresh start- a new opportunity to commit + succeed. Yes it is cold outside and spring feels so far away, but this is the time to put those blinders on and stay the course toward your health goals. There will never be a “good time” to start, or to re-start… we’ve just simply got to do it.

Are you moving your body now, every day, or are you waiting until _________ happens before you prioritize your movement?

Owner Melissa with clients Sheryl and Sharon- Sharon made these adorable beanies and just in time for the weekend forecast! Anyone else having Déjà vu from last weekend’s snow failure??! We are in the studio all day today and tomorrow getting in those final in-person sweat sessions before the winter wonderland hits ❄️ and are so thankful for the ability to take our client sessions virtual if need be!

Having a fully-stocked, 5-room personal training studio makes for an unbeatable fitness experience, but we are ready to pivot if need-be and train you virtually if we actually get some action this weekend ⛄️.
