Hoosier Dustoff’s very own has graduated the final phase of the Army’s Critical Care Flight Paramedic pipeline. SGT Sampson came to Hoosier as a young 68W and immediately deployed, learning the skills of flight paramedicine in a deployed setting under our FP-C UT’s. SGT Sampson is an incredible leader and FLIGHT PARAMEDIC. The Hoosier Dustoff family could not be more proud of her.

It's Monday, just another Monday ..... get up, get your s**t together and get out the door ..... but at some point today you better remember and never EVER forget.

NEVER forget what happened 16 years ago today.

REMEMBER the 343 FDNY, 23 NYPD, 37 Port Authority and New Jersey PD, 8 private EMT's and 1 NY Fire Patrolman that all made the ultimate sacrifice 16 years ago.

Most important, remember they ran IN while everyone else was running out.

At some point today hug, shake a hand or just say "Thank You" to someone you know in public safety, it's an incredibly emotional day for all of us even though we don't say it.

To all my brothers and sister out there, stay safe and THANK YOU!

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT:

The COVID-19 Pandemic has created a year that will undoubtedly be talked about for years to come. In addition to bringing havoc to people’s personal budgets in addition to the operating budgets of countless small business. The Princess Anne Courthouse Volunteer Rescue Squad (PACHVRS) was no exception. Unfortunately the squad lost out on several revenue generating event opportunities, causing us to miss out on revenue used to fund the operations of our squad.

Our Leadership challenged the membership to think up and present for approval, fundraising projects to help take some of the sting out of our financial hit. The (PACHVRS) Training Officer, Taylor Cook, came up with the idea of a squad calendar and has taken this idea from a thought to production all on her own!

PACHVRS invites you to welcome in the new year with a 2021 calendar and coupon book full of deals and discounts from your favorite Princess Anne area restaurants such as Lucky Oyster, Warriors Taphouse, The Casual Pint, Brooklyn Bagels&Pizzaria, Thin Brew Line,(which are all some favorite friends of the Princess Anne Courthouse Volunteer Rescue Squad) and MORE! The calendar features Courthouse Rescue Squad members and our very own Blue Fleet.

The printer finished with the 2021 Princess Anne Courthouse calendar/coupon book earlier today! These will make great Christmas and New Years gifts for friends and family.

Awesome job guys!

Congratulations to the first EMS-led class of Crisis Intervention Team graduates. This class is designed to help crewmembers de-escalate situations involving (potential) mental health patients. These students were exposed to myriad situations to teach them a different way to engage patients. Congratulations and well done!

Day shift was up nice and early today for rig checks, shift change and breakfast... a busy morning that included giving 422 a much needed cleaning! Thanks to Tien, Rick and Jonathan for staffing up a BLS ambulance today!
