On this day 33 years ago, Pembroke Chiropractic open its doors and on August 21st we had our first new patient!
Since that time we have had almost 6000 patients come through our office! I look forward to many more years of incredible healing experiences, Lord willing! Thank you God for allowing me to open my eyes and follow this path, helping people heal the way You intended them to.
I would like to thank some people who help make this dream a reality! First I would like to thank my mom and dad. Without their love and support none of this would have ever happened.
And right up there next to them is my wife Tammie Rienzi-Soccio. She has really been through the tough of the tough, the thick of the thick and the joys of it all. She provided massage therapy for nearly 20 before an accident forced her to retire. While she may have retired from massage you can find Tammie Denise working our front desk on Thursday afternoons and she also watches Holly's little guy Jameson while we are working on Saturday! Thank you honey, I truly appreciate you and all your healing energy that you put into the practice. Thank you for you unconditional love and support through it all! Ti amo! ♥️😘🥰
Then there is my team. There have been some key players who have really made important contributions. First there was Erica. Thank you for helping us open the doors and hit the ground running! Your knowledge that you had at the time was extraordinarily valuable for us!
Next was Courtney Shackelford. Courtney gave us 8 years of solid year of service and was such a vital team member during the early day where we had so much to learn. And when Courtney needed help we brought in Pat Salah to help with the growing demands of the practice. You guys were a great team! Thank you Courtney, I love that you are still in my life! ❤️❤️
Next was Michelle Bryan Lausch. Michelle stepped in a grabbed the rein when Courtney had to leave. While your stay was brief it was greatly appreciated! You were definitely meant to be there even for just a short time! Thank you! ♥️
Next was Colleen Donahue who was thrusted into the roll as Michelle was moving out of state. Colleen was a patient first who was also looking for work and the timing was perfect. She stepped in during a very crazy time and much disarray back in 2001. She then got our practice running smoothly again and needed help as we were going through a growth spurt. Thank you Colleen, I am grateful for all of your hard work. ❤️
In 2003 we hired Holly Hickson! She was just a senior at Princess Anne High School when she started. In 2005 when Colleen left to start a family, Holly took over at the helm and has done an incredible job ever since. October will mark her 22nd year here at the helm of Pembroke Chiropractic! Thank you Holly for all your hard work and dedication in keep the flow going! Even in the face of all of your own personal adversities, you always show up ready to take on the day! I love coming to work and working with you Holly everyday! Thank you Holly! I love you very much! ♥️♥️
When Tammie could no longer be the great massage therapist that she was, it wasn't easy to fill those shoes. Along came Amber Cutrone who was introduced to me by her awesome parents John and Doreen Cutrone! Amber was exactly what I was hoping for to fill the void in our practice! If your haven't experienced Amber's amazing healing work, you are truly missing out. Thank you Amber for being such an integral part of this team! I love you Amber! 👏🏻💖
I really need to give thanks to my daughter Brianna Noelle also! She stepped up to the plate to help us when Holly was out on maternity leave. You did an amazing job and I am so grateful and proud of you for stepping into that roll to help us when we needed help big time! I love you Bri! ❤️
And then there is Dr. Bob Leib who entered into this venture together with me. He and I had a vision and a dream and together set out to make that dream a reality. In July 1992 we packed up our families and left the Big Apple behind! In August 1992 Dr. Bob and I opened Pembroke Chiropractic together! Thank you my dear friend for all of your blood, sweat and tears that went into making this dream come true. I could not have done it without you. I love you buddy! 💙
I would also like to thank Dr. Dean Newman for his time spent with us from '93 to '97. You made those dreary days so much more fun. I had a blast working with you in those days! It was you who shared an obsession to Little Cesar's bread sticks with me! Of course you didn't make it any easier as you were buying them almost daily! You will never know how much you helped me to stay sane! Also, Thank you for covering my practice when I broke myself into a bunch of little pieces. Thank you my dear friend! I love you! 💙
In 2007, many of you will remember that I was involved in a very serious accident. I fell off of a ladder while working on the back of my house. I had broken many bones and needed surgery. Two people came to my rescue to help keep my practice alive while I was out recovering for almost 3 months. Dr. Dean Newman was one and the other was Dr. Michelle Rose. She came into my office every week and worked a shift after working in her own office! Thank you Michelle, I am forever indebted to you! I love you! ♥️
And last but Certainly not least, I would like to thank all of our patients who have placed their trust in our hands over the years. I have had the most incredible patient base a doctor could ever ask for! I am so honored and feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to work with all of you and your families throughout the years. Watching your babies grow up and have incredible lives after receiving Chiropractic Care. So thank you all for being such in integral part of my family. I truly love and appreciate you all!
