Inversions & Arm Balances is a class designed to build confidence, strength, and playfulness as you go upside down. Whether you’re brand new or refining your form, you’ll get step-by-step guidance, smart progressions, and a supportive space to explore. Expect to work hard, laugh a little, and surprise yourself along the way.
Then, slow things down with Hatha 90, a 90-minute deep dive into 15 classical postures held 3–4 minutes each with rest in between. This extended time lets you explore subtle alignment, breath, and the inner experience of each asana for greater depth and integration.

Studio Bamboo Institute of Yoga is a spacious and tranquil yoga center dedicated to the practice of movement, mindfulness and breath. Our studio space was intentionally designed so our students would feel like they are stepping away from the hustle and bustle of the busy world, immediately feeling more serene and focused. With two locations to serve you (2861 Lynnhaven Drive, Suite 108, Virginia Beach, VA 23451 AND 1116 Volvo Pkwy, Suite 101, Chesapeake, VA 23320) consider Studio Bamboo Institute of Yoga your home away from home: a safe place for community, laughter and care.

Creating a comfortable, nurturing space, we offer a variety of classes that welcome ALL bodies. It is our hope to encourage our guests to create a love for yoga that carries them off the mat, building a life that feels as good on the outside as it does on the inside.
