Social Butterflies Club SPRING BREAK CAMP 2026! 🌱Our Social Butterflies learned about fruit and vegetables, planted our garden, made their own mini greenhouses, picked strawberries, and of course had fun with their friends. ❤️

HAPPY St Patrick's day from our SBC friends! ☘️ ☘️We have been practicing hunting for lucky 4 leaf clovers and gold coins just in case the leprechaun left some for us!

What looks like simple play, is building:

Cold 🥶 weather didn’t stop our fun in our Social Butterflies Club groups this month!

❄️Inside our cozy sessions, we’ve been busy building big skills through play, movement, and connection — the Social Butterflies Club way!

❄️From team snowball fights in the sensory gym, penguin bowling, and asking & answering winter-themed questions with friends, every activity was intentionally playful and skill-rich.

❄️Speech & Language Targets:
• Perspective taking & flexible thinking
• Topic maintenance and conversational turn-taking
• Using language to problem-solve with friends

❄️Social Communication:
• Reading body language & social cues
• Working with friends for a shared (fun) purpose

What FUN we had this month at Social Butterflies Club! 🎃
👻Our friends have been learning about the hidden rules for trick-or-treat this month.
👻We practiced this week in our Blue and Red Butterflies groups!
👻 Our friends even found time for some pretend play and pumpkin themed funnel ball!
🎃TARGET skills: expressive language, receptive language, joint attention, self-regulation, social reciprocity, play skills, motor skills, and FUN!

Sea Squad Adventures was the theme in our Summer Social Butterflies Camp last week!
🐙The "Marine Biologists in Training " learned about the coral reef and the sea life living there. The heat didn't stop the fun!
🐟Pretend play with friends using sea life vocabulary and language, self-regulation games, sensory-rich activities, and practicing social interactions was the target this week!
