A recent Cleveland Clinic study on 53,000 clinic employees during the 2024-2025 flu season showed an unexpected finding: a higher risk of influenza in vaccinated, working-aged adults compared to unvaccinated individuals when influenza activity was high.
They cited it is "likely" due to the difficulty matching the various flu strains. That means that is their best guess. This is what many have always known. With so many strains, vaccinating for only a couple doesnt protect the individual from much. And the vaccinations themselves pose compromise immune systems and infect individuals with virus.
What some of us call this season is detox season, not flu season. The branches in our lungs mimic branches on the trees in fall they shed their leaves & conserve energy during winter when there is less energy (sunshine). Our bronchials go thru a detoxing season. This stretches into winter as we continue to work and participate in life in the same way we do during other seasons at a time when we are innately instinctively supposed to be hibernating like every other living thing. Not to mention the increase in sugar and alcohol as well as over-eating over the holidays. Tje body is not meant to be digesting food around the clock. It needs a break from digesting in order to focus on healing & systems functionality. Give yourself the rest you need as much as possible during this season and do things that aid your bodys need to detox. In accordance with Eastern medicine, what you do eat and drink shld be warm. Warm soups, warm water/teas will maintain warmth and prevent the system from being cold and dry. Keep socks on your feet, do not walk on cold surfaces, and use warm blankets. This will protect & support your system during the hibernation season.
