We offer ongoing education and training programs, support groups, and a 24/7 helpline. We connect to people with the goal of improving the quality of life for recovering individuals and their families. NAMI Coastal Virginia advocates at the local, state, and national levels to

eradicate the stigma associated with mental illness and is committed to improving the lives of the community at large through free educational programs and community-wide inclusion.

Join us for an engaging presentation and interactive discussion that helps the community learn about the warning signs of mental health conditions and what steps to take if you or a loved one needs help or support.
The presentation will include personal testimony from a youth or young adult with lived experience. The presentation's message of empathy and hope encourages all to actively care for themselves and their loved ones.

Together, we walk for mental health.

Join us for NAMIWalks Coastal Virginia 2026 as we come together to support mental health awareness and build a stronger, more connected community.

We’re excited to announce our May Registration Challenge. Anyone who registers or creates a team during the month of May will be entered into a special raffle drawing.

We’ll also officially kick off this year’s walk season on July 1 at Chick’s Oyster Bar in Virginia Beach. Join us to connect with the community, learn more about the walk, and help build momentum leading into October.
