*Integrated Performance Bodywork using the Masterson Method. It’s an Interactive Method where I use the response of the horse to my touch to find and release accumulated tension in the key junctions of the body that most affect performance: Poll-Atlas, Neck-Shoulders-Withers Junction, and Hind End. This Massage/Bodywork is done WITH the horse, Not TO The horse.
* TTouch, through the use of special applied light touch, groundwork & special tools such as balance pads, can be used to influence your animal in a way that develops a deeper relationship and change unwanted behaviors.
*Craniosacral Therapy, where light touch is used to relieve tension in the central nervous system giving a feeling of well-being by eliminating pain & boosting immunity.
*MicroCurrent Therapy & Equi-Stim, an extremely small amount of electrical current, similar to that of healthy cells, is given to rebalance the cells damaged by disease/trauma. Painless & Cuts healing time dramatically!
*Cold Laser, a precise, quick, and safe treatment for many conditions. Not thermal so no chance of burns.
*Thermal Imaging, allows us to "See" hidden injuries & inflammation. Aids in saddle fitting, hoof balance, finding nerve damage, as well as tooth & jaw issues. TI is valuable during pre-purchase exams and pre-event. TI can "See" ligament and tendon problems 2-3 weeks before outward physical signs.
*Kinesiology tape, effective in reducing inflammation, increasing support and stability, reducing pain and improving function. Kinesiology tape can be added following Bodywork/Massage to enhance the effects of the session. Kinesiology tape improves blood flow by creating a decompressive effect. This allows blood to flow more freely through the underlying soft tissue, which aids in reducing any inflammation/edema. It also increases blood flow in areas that are lacking which improves healing and waste removal. This tape also reduces pain by stimulating nerves called mechanoreceptors which have a direct influence on the nociceptor nerves (pain sensation). It can add stability and support to joints and muscles. It helps improve function and proper movement through support, but doesn't restrict range of motion like other athletic tapes tend to do.
