⚾️ Congratulations to Lee Garris, AOS’ May Athlete of the Month!
Lee is a standout student-athlete at Norfolk Public Schools, excelling on the baseball field as a centerfielder, 3rd baseman, and 2nd baseman. A First Team All-State selection in 2025, Lee started the 2026 season strong and has committed to continue his baseball career at James Madison University after graduation.

Known for his quiet leadership and steady presence, Lee is respected by both his teammates and coaches. He’s also a dedicated student and maintains an impressive 3.8 GPA.

What a wonderful day at Hunt Club Farm ! 🐐🐄🐴

A huge thank you to our doctors at Atlantic Orthopaedic Specialists for hosting our annual company picnic for our staff and their families. It was such a special opportunity to relax, connect, and enjoy time together outside of the office.

From petting animals to fun hayrides, cuddling mini-highland cows, and visiting the beautiful BirdWalk Aviary, there was something for everyone to enjoy. We had a delicious lunch catered by Pollards Chicken & Catering that made the day that much more enjoyable!

We are so grateful for a team that values family, community, and creating moments like these together. 🐮

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the 2026 AOS Rehabilitation Professionals’ Workers’ Compensation Conference!

We were proud to host a full day of education, collaboration, and networking focused on improving outcomes for injured workers across our community. Attendees earned valuable CEU credits through educational sessions from eight of our orthopaedic surgeons and members of our Physical and Occupational Therapy team.

We appreciate all of the healthcare professionals who attended and helped make this year’s conference such a success. We look forward to seeing you again next year!

Congratulations to our AOS Athlete of the Month, Agape Zinsou of Lake Taylor High School.

Agape is a standout sprinter, Team Captain, Senior Class President, and exceptional student leader who continues to make an impact both on and off the track. This season, she earned 1st Place at Indoor Regionals in the 55M, 300M, and 4x200 Relay, while also tying for 1st Place in the 100M at the Eastern District Outdoor Meet. She's also an oustanding student with a 3.8 GPA.

Her coach describes her as an outstanding leader who leads by example and is trusted and respected by her teammates. In addition to her success in athletics, Agape is involved in National Honor Society, NJROTC, DECA, community service, and plans to pursue Pre-Med studies in college.

Atlantic Orthopaedic Specialists is proud to recognize Agape and proud to serve as the team physicians for Norfolk Public Schools.
