What are you breathing?! 😅 AirDoctor filter change out day (at home and work). There aren’t many inanimate objects I love —- the Vitamix, the nebulizer, the Nama juicer —- and the AirDoctor are some.

At the risk of sounding like an infomercial, which I’m not, these things are just amazing. We first got one when Nick was initially diagnosed with stage 3c cancer, with a 90% tumor blockage, and we chased after holistic modes of Healing. (He was declared NED - no evidence of disease - 6 months later and just passed his 6 year cancerversary). We have since added one to each bedroom and living area in the house, as well as the classroom I teach in and our work space. They even have the air *smelling* and tasting (?😋) clean. Removes 99.99% of viruses and bacteria (including H1N1, influenza, and coronaviruses) and captures airborne particles 0.003 microns in size. Impressive machines.

And great “white noise” makers too for the bedroom at night. 🌙🌟☺️

A number of people have asked what we use to nebulize when it is fitting to do so. Here is what we use and love — especially when everyone around us has influenza, or during busy/crowded travel events.

Together in nebulizer cup (wall plug-in power nebulizer):

5ml saline

2 drops 2% iodine

0.5-1.0 ml 3% food grade hydrogen peroxide

At a different time, you can nebulize colloidal silver alone. Do not mix the 2 different formulas.

Scientists at the Instituto de Biofísica Carlos Chagas Filho, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, are exploring whether music could play a role in cancer treatment.

Led by Dr. Márcia Alves Marques Capella, the team exposed both healthy and cancerous cell cultures to different music genres. Remarkably, Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5 destroyed about 20% of cancer cells in just a few days, while leaving healthy cells unaffected. A similar effect was observed with György Ligeti’s Atmosphères, though Mozart’s Sonata for Two Pianos showed no measurable impact.

The exact mechanism behind these effects remains unknown, but researchers speculate that rhythm, frequency, or intensity could be key factors. Further experiments, including Brazilian Samba and Funk, are planned to uncover more about this intriguing phenomenon. While the research is in its early stages, it offers a fascinating glimpse into the potential of music as a non-invasive cancer therapy.

Want to boost your mood? Eat more fruits and veggies!

New research from twin studies reveals a surprising connection between depression and diet.

Here’s the scoop:
Researchers from UNSW Sydney’s Center for Healthy Brain Aging examined how the intake of fruits and vegetables affects depressive symptoms in people over 45. They studied 3,483 twins from Australia, Denmark, Sweden, and the US over 11 years.

The results?
Eating more fruits and veggies is linked to fewer symptoms of depression! Even a moderate intake of veggies made a difference, with high intake leading to the greatest improvements.

But here’s the kicker: Most people are still eating far below the recommended levels.

Plant food feed good gut bacteria and a healthy gut could be the key to mental well-being, with the microbiome playing a role in reducing inflammation linked to depression.
