My goal is to allow space for the unfolding of a therapeutic relationship grounded in appreciation, warmth, compassion and acceptance, while encouraging insight and self-realization. Through an inward movement, the spirit and psyche naturally flow towards wholeness and higher consciousness. This natural process can seemingly be disrupted by searching for fulfillment in external sources, such as other people, status, substances, and money. Turning our awareness inward can be the most important movement we make. Distress and suffering are common experiences in life, and can be the portals for growth and awakened consciousness.

In therapy, we can explore concerns such as depression, anxiety, trauma, addictions, grief, and relationship challenges in the moment, while understanding how symptoms manifest in the body and mind. Then we can allow space for the energetic flow of your inner wisdom and compassion to move so the spirit and psyche can return to its true radiance.

I have over 8 years experience as a professional helper in outpatient, residential, and crisis stabilization centers. I have conducted outpatient therapy and crisis interventions with adults, families, adolescents, and children. I served the City of Norfolk as a therapist for over 4 years.
