Happy New Year! This past year has been a great year for Peek Product Designs. Sales have substantially increased for both Ocean Coral Reef and Paisley designs. On the flip side, the Paisley Candle Topper will be sold out for a few months due to the increase in sales. I am in the process of getting another order started for more Paisley Toppers.
Just a few months ago, I changed manufacturing companies due to extremely high tariffs. My candle toppers will now be mass produced in Vietnam. I have been in the process of transferring all the molds for my current topper designs and getting set up with this new company. Because of the move, production for more Paisley toppers has been delayed.
During the last few years, it has truly been amazing to see how many countries my candle toppers have been shipped to. They are literally ALL over the world. It has also been really exciting to see all the new and creative ways people are using their toppers. It’s not just a candle topper! Be on the lookout for new designs coming in the near future!
Having my business has been life changing. It has given me productive purpose again. About twenty years ago, I was diagnosed with the extreme form of POTS & IST at the Mayo Clinic. While there, I was informed by the doctors that I can no longer work outside the home as stress among other things makes my condition worse. This condition has been very debilitating to say the least. I was told that living with Hyperadrenergic POTS for the last couple of decades is naturally going to bring on new challenges and conditions. As my health has gotten worse, I was informed by my cardiologist that I am in the starting phase of heart failure and have newly been diagnosed with EDS and fibromyalgia.
As you can imagine this past year has been difficult emotionally, physically, and add on to that financially with the economy and rising medical expenses. If it were not for my business, I would be writing a completely different story. In more ways than one it has saved me and given me purpose outside of being a wife and mother which I also truly love.
All in all, the journey of seeing my business thrive and all the wonderful people I have met along the way has been so rewarding. Thank you for ALL your support these last few years. I greatly appreciate you! My business would be nothing without you!! Have a blessed and Happy New Year!
