Crystal Clear Eye Surgeons Specializing in exams, glasses, contacts, surgery, aesthetics, and eye diseases Dr. Avi Meier was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. in 2005.

Formerly known as First Colonial Eye Center and has changed its name to Crystal Clear Eye Surgeons. Crystal Clear Eye Surgeons is a dedicated eye care center that provides patients with the latest in ophthalmic procedures, optometry, individual and family care, and information on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of ocular diseases. After graduating from the Scholars program with a B.S. in biochemistry from the University of Maryland, he attended George Washington University school of Medicine where he earned his M.D. He completed his internship at Johns Hopkins University/Sinai Hospital and then completed his residency in ophthalmology in 2009 at Eastern Virginia Medical School while earning the honor of chief resident. He then received additional training in diseases of the retina and vitreous and has focused his career as a comprehensive ophthalmologist to treat all diseases of the eye. Additionally, he is an assistant professor of ophthalmology at Eastern Virginia Medical School where he teaches our future ophthalmologists. Dr. Meier is a three-time winner of best ophthalmologist in Hampton Roads voted on by the readers of Coastal Virginia Magazine.
