There will be no yoga classes on Saturday, April 4, as we pause for Easter Weekend. From all of us at Valley Yoga, we wish you a beautiful, restful holiday. We welcome you back to the studio soon!

If you’d still like to move and care for yourself at home, here are a few gentle ideas:

Simple Poses to Try at Home
• Child’s Pose (Balasana) – Rest, reset, and soften the body
• Legs Up the Wall – Calm the mind and support circulation
• Cat-Cow Stretch – Gently wake up the spine and breath

Self-Care Ideas
• Sip tea and take a few quiet moments for yourself
• Step outside for fresh air and sunshine
• Journal, reflect, or set intentions for the new season
• Unplug and allow your body to fully rest

Enjoy the holiday, take care of yourself, and we’ll see you back on your mat very soon.

Thursdays 6pm on hold- As we continue to grow and nurture our community in the right way, we will be placing our Thursday 6 PM class on hold for now.

This pause allows us the space to reflect, realign, and come back even stronger for you. 💛

In the meantime, we would love to see you at one of our other yoga classes throughout the week—your mat is always waiting.

Thank you for your understanding, your patience, and for being part of our journey.

Rest is Practice, Too 🤍
If you’re feeling under the weather, this is your gentle reminder to stay home and take care of yourself. Yoga isn’t about pushing through; it’s about listening. And sometimes the most powerful practice is rest.

Your mat will be here when you’re feeling better. Until then, here are three simple, nourishing poses you can practice at home to help your body recover:

1. Legs Up the Wall (Viparita Karani)
Lie on your back with your legs resting against a wall. This gentle inversion helps reduce swelling, calm the nervous system, and support circulation. Stay for 5–10 minutes and breathe slowly.

2. Supported Child’s Pose (Balasana)
Kneel and fold forward, resting your chest on a pillow or folded blanket. This soft, supported shape can ease tension in the back and encourage deep, steady breathing.

3. Reclined Bound Angle (Supta Baddha Konasana)
Lie on your back, bring the soles of your feet together, and let your knees fall open (place pillows under your knees for support). Rest one hand on your heart and one on your belly. Slow breaths in… slow breaths out.

Healing happens when we allow it. Stay cozy. Hydrate. Rest.

We can’t wait to welcome you back when you’re feeling strong and steady again.
