Have you heard of the group 764 targeting our kids via Roblox, discord and mental health forums?

The kiddos, icy, and teenagers, already struggle with low self-esteem, and all of them have intrusive thoughts.. there’s much I could say about the vulnerability. Kids are in right now with themselves and with the world around them. But I’ve been hearing about this over and over for the last few weeks and finally watched this episode on the Sean Ryan show. This is just a clip. I think everybody needs to know what their kids are viewing. Most parents have no idea because they are “good kids”. It’s never a question of whether or not the kids are good or not good it’s a question of how innocent and susceptible they are to predators.

Notes from our session with Dr. Curt Thompson-

Wisdom- where can she be found?
We left the pursuit of wisdom for the pursuit of knowledge, but it really isn’t doing much for us as a society- in fact, it has hurt us.

We are “formed” by information from our phones vs formed by wisdom from our Bible bc we spend so much more time on our phones.

John 16:33 what Jesus said about wisdom.
Wisdom is not something I take but something that happens with another person when I am deeply know. (Jesus)
We were made on purpose from the longing of God, for relationship.

We are providing ourself to our patients and we need to be full of Jesus who IS wisdom.

All violence begins with envy & shame- all of it!!!
To overcome the world, we endeavor to be a living, breathing person who embodies the fruit of the spirit and the sermon on the mount we must become like HIM.

We must bring peace to our patients like Jesus did and be vulnerable to them about our wounds like Jesus did. We cannot give what we don’t have.

“ I am not afraid that you will be successful, I am afraid that you will be successful in something that doesn’t matter. “
