, my grandmother, Maybelle Hamilton, would have celebrated her 100th birthday today. She passed away two months ago at the age of 99.
Gram was the first licensed physical therapist in Alaska, graduating from Boston University with a
Bachelor of Science in 1948, during a pivotal time in history when physical therapy was emerging as a recognized profession. In the 1940s, amid the polio epidemic and wartime rehabilitation needs, physical therapy became officially established, grounded in restoring movement, function, and independence. My grandmother was there at the very beginning, helping define what this profession would become.
She dedicated her career primarily to treating children, combining skill, compassion, and unwavering professionalism. She was incredibly hardworking, always composed, witty, and strong. These are qualities that continue to inspire me daily.
My path into physical therapy and therapeutic bodywork exists because of her. Her work, integrity, and quiet strength live on through the care I strive to provide every client and every patient.

Happy 100th birthday, Gram. Your legacy continues. 🫶🏽

Gift certificates are non-refundable. Gift certificates never expire although keep in mind they are loaded by dollar amount and service prices are subject to change without notice. Gift certificates cannot be replaced if lost.
Gift certificates can be purchased in person or over the phone.
The following payment methods are accepted: Zelle, Venmo, Apple Pay, and cash. *Credit card NOT accepted*
If you would like to pick up the certificate in person, you must arrange a day/time to pick it up as I am in office by appointment only.
Please also keep in mind my availability when purchasing a gift certificate. As of today, 10/30/25 - I am currently taking appointments on Tuesdays 1:15pm-5:00pm (95-min only), Thursdays 11:00am - 6:30pm & Fridays 11:00am - 5:15pm.

Happy Thursday!
Here's a quick announcement regarding MLD treatments & price changes...
-This includes pre/post operation & general full body lymphatic drainage. Lymphatic drainage as an ADD ON to a regular bodywork session will still be available at no extra cost for face, scalp & décolleté areas or Indian head massage treatments.
-I am currently only offering 60-minute sessions. Shorter treatment times may be available on a case by case basis.
-A non-fundable retainer fee is required for all lymphatic drainage treatments (booked in-person or online)
👉🏼I want to take this time to remind everyone of my punch card rewards! After 3 regular priced treatments, receive a FREE 30-minute upgrade on the 4th ($30 savings).

My prices explained👌🏼 I have worked hands-on, with thousands of clients, over the past 14 years as a massage therapist. I have gained an incredible amount of knowledge as a physical therapist assistant and I spend hours each week staying up to date on the latest research and knowledge.
