My WHY….

In 2020 I lost my beautiful Mother, Nicole Adrienne Bitney, after a horrific battle with cancer during the worlds craziest health care crisis. The journey was beyond hard and massively overwhelming. She was a beloved VUSD teacher and 55 years old and just a few years shy of retirement, looking forward to life at the coast with her dream business, a sweet Christmas Store in Cambria Ca.

My Mother was an amazing teacher, both academically and throughout my life as a guiding light in my growing years. She taught me so many amazing life skills, however fitness and nutrition was not a strong suit of hers.

As I watched my Mother grow sicker and weaker, it was a eye opening experience to realize… this will be me if I continue on my path.

I believe My Mother is still teaching me, through her sickness and through her death, she has shown me there is nothing more important than your physical and mental health.

So here I am today… creating a space where conversations about health, fitness, and food can be used to heal and improve our overall quality of life.

From ashes we rise! So mote it be. ❤️ 💪
