🌟 Board Spotlight: Michele Lima
Meet Michele! 🤝
A devoted advocate for families and healing, Michele has long served the Tulare community through both business and nonprofit work. After the loss of her son, Paulie, she founded the Paulie Pryce Cortez Memorial Foundation to honor his memory, raise awareness about drowsy driving, and provide scholarships for local students.

✨ “I deeply believe in strengthening families, protecting the vulnerable, and providing the tools people need to heal from trauma. My personal journey has shown me how critical strong community support systems are, and I want to use my voice and experience to help others find hope and healing.”

Michele’s passion for empowering children and families aligns beautifully with our mission. She’s especially committed to supporting children who have experienced violence or abuse and ensuring survivors have access to programs like Karen’s House—safe havens that offer protection, support, and hope.
We’re honored to have Michele’s compassion, leadership, and dedication guiding our work to help families heal and thrive. 💙💜
