🚨 Real-time help for people experiencing homelessness just got more accessible.

The Shelter Ready App, launched by San Diego County District Attorney’s Office, connects outreach teams directly to emergency shelters across San Diego County, making it easier and faster to support those in need.

Lifeline was honored to participate in the pilot testing phase. As an organization committed to preventing retraumatization and building trust with our clients, we’re proud to help shape solutions prioritizing dignity, speed, and care.

Special thanks to District Attorney Summer Stephan for leading this powerful initiative that puts technology to work for compassion.

🌟 Juneteenth: A Celebration of Freedom

On June 19, 1865, over two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was issued, Union troops arrived in Galveston, Texas, to announce that the last enslaved African Americans were finally free.

This day became known as Juneteenth, and it marks one of the most significant moments in U.S. history.

Lifeline honors Juneteenth and the ongoing fight for freedom for all people.
