🎁 Adopt-A-Family is here!

Let’s make the holidays brighter for local families 💚

Adopt-A-Family is a holiday giving program that supports Lifeline’s clients experiencing hardship.

Local businesses, organizations, and individuals “adopt” families by purchasing gifts or making financial donations to help make the holidays special.

There are 3 ways to support:
1️⃣ Adopt a family and shop their wishlist
2️⃣ Donate gift cards
3️⃣ Give online

Together, we can make sure every child experiences the joy of the season ✨

Lifeline Community Services and the Bilateral Safety Corridor Coalition co-hosted a session at the County of San Diego’s Live Well Conference, highlighting ways to identify barriers and adapt services to better support survivors of human trafficking.

At Lifeline, we believe change happens when we listen, learn, and refine our approach through a trauma-informed lens. This model strengthens anti-trafficking efforts and guides programs serving people experiencing homelessness, substance use, and domestic violence.

As Ashley Johnson from Project LIFE shared, “It’s a privilege getting to be part of someone’s healing journey.” Together, we work alongside survivors to help them see their full potential and shape systems that evolve with their needs. 💜

Huge thanks to San Diego FC for visiting our Club Crown Heights youth. We were honored to have David Vásquez and Alejandro Alvarado join us for a soccer clinic, art activities, and autographs that inspired our kids.

Kids had a Q&A session where they asked players about their favorite animal, favorite team, what they want to be when they grow up, and so many other fun questions!

Memorable moments like these allow our youth to reimagine their future and build confidence. Thank you for believing in their potential and standing with community. 💚

A Proud Moment for Lifeline 💜

Today, Councilmember Sean Elo Rivera and the San Diego City Council presented a Proclamation honoring Hispanic Heritage Month, and recognized two of our own: Lisette Islas, CEO, and Mabi Castro, Chief Impact Officer, for their powerful contributions to the Latino and Hispanic community.

We are honored to see their leadership, heart, and dedication celebrated in a space that uplifts those who are building a stronger San Diego, and breaking access barriers for others.
