This is always one of the things I want every person to take away from my apraxia advocacy— we must treat CAS with a motor planning approach. Other types of approaches are not effective on CAS. Saw this article and had to share. I have always felt therapists and teachers calling the student's mother, "mom" was condescending and kind of lazy. I always ask what a parent wants to be referred to as, their first name or Mrs. So-and-so if they're married.
