One of our favorite traditions here at Voorhees, our annual Fall Fest and Costume Contest, was a huge success! Every year is special, and this one was no exception. We loved seeing all the kids in their amazing costumes, parading around. A big shoutout to Jack, Tessie’s grandson, for once again keeping the music and energy flowing! And heartfelt thanks to everyone who spun the wheel at our Alzheimer’s table and joined the 50/50 raffle – your generosity brings us one step closer to a cure. It was a fantastic Fall afternoon filled with fun, laughter, and community spirit!

Things really heated up at our Chili Cook-Off here at Voorhees! Three mouthwatering chilis went head-to-head, and our residents got to be the judges with a special “Chili Flight” tasting experience – complete with voting tickets to crown their favorite. After the votes were counted, our Restaurant Team proved they’ve got the ultimate recipe for success, taking home the win by a landslide! Congratulations to our champions – and thank you to everyone who joined in the fun!

A heartfelt thank you to Forget Me Knot Flowers for their generous donation of beautiful blooms. Our residents truly enjoyed arranging the florals for their apartments – and even added a touch of creativity with a few in their hair! We’re deeply grateful for their continued thoughtfulness and for brightening our community with their kindness.

Coffee and conversation are always a treat, and today’s gathering here at Voorhees had a delightful seasonal twist – everything pumpkin! We indulged in pumpkin muffins, pumpkin cake, pumpkin tarts, and of course, classic pumpkin donuts. Our Monday mornings with the Coffee Connoisseurs group are always a warm and wonderful way to start the week.
