To commemorate National Assisted Living Week, a special time to honor our wonderful residents, families, and associates, we held a celebration here at Voorhees with a delicious waffle bar and mimosas for all to enjoy. Families also had the chance to create a meaningful keepsake through our fingerprint family tree project – something to frame and cherish or gift to their loved one. Our phenomenal Restaurant Team outdid themselves with a fantastic spread, and no one left hungry. A heartfelt thank-you to our incredible associates for making this event possible – we truly couldn’t do it without you!

Our residents were delighted to take part in The Unforgotten Haven’s “Cookies for Charity Project.” Together, we baked 200 cookies, packaged them with care, and delivered them to support the cause. The Unforgotten Haven, a local nonprofit, distributes these cookie bags every Sunday during their outreach to individuals in need. A big thank you to our amazing Restaurant team for their time and effort in making this project a success!

Nothing says summer like ice cream! Residents had the best time at Scoopy Lou’s, thanks to resident Joan’s family who owns the shop. Not only did we enjoy delicious ice cream, but we also got souvenir shirts to take home!

Congratulations to Christina, one of our Restaurant Associates, on receiving a gold coin for her exceptional thoughtfulness and kindness! When a resident returned from the hospital, Christina knew exactly which foods he loved and made sure they were delivered to his apartment. Her care and attention truly make a difference in our community. This gold coin was also Christina’s fifth, earning her the chance to select a special gift — and she’s thrilled with her new purse! Our residents took a culinary adventure to Black Olive, a charming spot serving authentic Greek cuisine. We savored new flavors, perfected the pronunciation of “gyro,” and shared plenty of laughs along the way. It was a wonderful time together, and we can’t wait to visit again!
