Dr. Karmazin employs a Functional Medicine

approach, which aims to address the root of the problem rather than just treating the symptoms. She uses well-proven and safe modalities such as homeopathy, acupuncture and biopuncture. Dr Karmazin spends time with her patients, listening to their histories and looking at the interactions among genetic, environmental, lifestyle factors and nutrition, that can influence long-term health and complex, chronic disease. We specialize in holistic pain control and do not use narcotics, NSAIDs or steroid injections. Instead, we use biopuncture and acupuncture, which are highly effective modalities for acute and chronic pain and sport injuries. They promote true healing by addressing the root of the problem. With the recent increase in opioid addiction and death in our region, our methods provide a superior alternative to opioid-based drug treatments while eliminating the possibility of future drug dependency
