Hey out there! We’re a South Jersey TOP DOC Dermatology office and LOOKING TO HIRE A NEW MEDICAL ASSISTANT, someone who is MATURE, MOTIVATED, DEDICATED, and CARING--someone we and patients can count on. A person who can handle themselves...and others (!) in a busy medical practice. We will train you to enter patients' data into our iPad-based electronic medical record system and take their histories to prepare them for their exam/procedure. You will need to assist with medical and in-office surgical procedures. We multi-task here, so you will also be taught how to work with insurance companies for medicine and procedure prior authorizations and schedule patient appointments.

Spanish-speaking ability isn't necessary, but is nice. Experience is a real benefit. You must know how to work with the basic functions of computers and websites.

We can train you on that.

MULTITASKING is key for our office. That means answering phones with patient questions and appointments, occasionally helping take patients to the exam rooms, and other front-office duties. Experience with patient procedures and assisting the doctor during these procedures is a real benefit, although we will teach you everything you need to know.

Initially the job will be PARTTIME, but we anticipate the option to go FULLTIME in the future if desired.

Spanish-speaking ability isn't necessary, but is nice. Experience is a real benefit.
