Donald Trump says he will nominate Linda McMahon to be the Secretary of Education.

Trump chose her to build on Betsy DeVos’s legacy, expand vouchers nationwide and gut the U.S. Department of Education.

This would mean fewer resources for our public schools, larger class sizes, and fewer opportunities for students.

I am joining together with educators, parents, and the nation’s largest union, the National Education Association, to protect public schools from Trump and McMahon’s agenda.

You can sign it here: nea.org/protectourschools.

Together, we will work at the local, state, and federal levels because every student deserves the opportunity, resources, and support to reach their full potential no matter where they live or their race.

We will be heard at every level of government—from the school board to the Senate—to reject the Project 2025 plan to expand vouchers and gut the Department of Education.
