Shoutout to our school district for putting health first while they tackle the mold that developed over last weekend 👏. Mold isn’t just about sniffles—it can affect our brains and nervous systems too resulting in brain fog, mood changes, attention difficulties, behavior changes, fatigue and more. Taking care of it now means a safer, healthier space for our kids to learn.

While a delayed start to the school year isn’t easy, I deeply appreciate the commitment to protecting the health of our children, staff, and families.

So here’s to a safe start to the school year (and maybe just a little more summer fun in the meantime 😉).

Exciting Update: New Online Scheduling! 🌿

Our old scheduling site gave us a very “surprise, we’re changing everything!” kind of notice as they are quickly switching over to Vagaro.

I’ve been meaning to consolidate my scheduling with my charting software for… ummm, let’s just say 12+ months. 😅 Well, this was the perfect opportunity to be “gently forced” into finally making the switch (and fast!)

That being said not all bugs have been worked out before going live and I will be working on fixing or adjusting them as well as getting the link on my website over the next several weeks.

Important: If you’ve been directed to Vagaro (which recently bought Schedulocity), please ignore that link.

Not only is this a fun, screen-free activity, but it also gets kids (and parents!) outside, walking, stretching, and using their bodies in healthy ways. Nature time supports better posture, reduces stress, and can help improve mood and focus. 🌿

Tonight I had the pleasure of stopping by Hoppy Girl Brewing for their 10 year anniversary celebration—-congratulations to Brenda & Ford on such a great milestone 🎉

I stepped a little outside my usual and enjoyed a rhubarb shandy and a strawberry shandy (yes, both — when in Rome, right?) and grabbed some tacos for the family on my way out!

Part of a well-rounded life includes treating ourselves every once in a while and celebrating, connecting, and lifting up the businesses that make our community vibrant.
