We miss seeing you in our Wabasha Dentistry building, our home. ❤️
Yesterday marked the 10 month anniversary since the worst day in our practice’s history, when a fire destroyed our clinic — an historically significant facility into which we poured our hearts, investment, energy, and dreams. We worked hand in hand with the National Park Service, MN State Historic Preservation Office, consultants, and many incredible local contractors to rehabilitate the HH Jewel building to become Wabasha Dentistry.
Our team is and has been ready to move forward with reconstruction. However, to date, State Farm has arrived at a reconstruction estimate that covers a mere two-thirds of our repair costs, despite having a policy limit that would cover nearly all rehabilitation expenses. That leaves us unable to begin necessary repairs at this point.
These past months have shown that our team is incredibly resourceful and dedicated to caring for our family of patients as we work from a temporary clinic.
Thank you to Wabasha first responders, fire, ambulance and police, saving our building from a total collapse. we cannot thank you enough. To our team and local contractors that saved us from business closure, and the community at large for standing with us during this challenging time. Your support motivates us to keep pushing for a resolution that lets us return to serving you from our home office.
