Are you ready to take charge of your health and embrace healthy aging? Join our classes featuring low- to no-impact chair exercises that focus on range of motion, balance, and strength-building, along with nutrition information.

Offered at three locations in McLennan County, you can choose the class location that is most convenient for you to help you stay active and feeling great.

• Tuesdays & Thursdays starting January 13th in Moody at the Methodist Activities Center and in McGregor at the First Baptist Church
• Wednesdays & Fridays starting January 14th in Valley Mills at Top Hand Cowboy Church

On January 13th at 5:30 p.m., the Central Texas Medical Reserve Corps will host Waco PD Detective Bryton Johnson, who will conduct active-threat training on strategies for surviving such incidents, with a focus on recognizing threats and taking appropriate action. The training is based on the "run, hide, fight" protocol.

• Run: Escape the area if a safe path is available.
• Hide: If escape isn't possible, find a secure place to hide, lock doors, and turn off lights.
• Fight: As a last resort, and only if your life is in imminent danger, fight back decisively.
