Join us for the third annual Community Field Day on Saturday, April 18, from 5:30–7:30 p.m. at McLane Stadium—an evening of fun, connection, and community for youth and adults (ages 12+) with developmental disabilities and their families.

This special event brings people together for field games, health resources, and meaningful moments of belonging—but it wouldn’t be possible without volunteers like you.

Challenger Little League in Waco Texas Opening Day was a home run ⚾️🧢🤩

Challenger Little League provides the opportunity for children with physical, intellectual and developmental disabilities to play Little League baseball.

No matter the ability or skill level, “everyone plays!”

Since its inception in 1990, the Arc of McLennan County sponsors a team. Many of our participants also play in the senior league.

Our three pillars are Advocate, Relate, and Create. So what do we create?

We do all sorts of creative projects to work on following directions, fine motor skills, teamwork, and to just keep the creative juices flowing. Lately we’ve been working on painting rocks with uplifting messages to brighten people’s days, pipe cleaner flowers to give to students during exam week, and this fun interactive exhibit at the Bledsoe-Miller STEAM Center allowed our participants to really think outside the box.
