This spring, the McLennan Community College (MCC) Radiologic Technology Student Association partnered with our Breast Health Center for Breast Cancer Awareness Days on the MCC campus.

Through student-led education tables, awareness initiatives, and fundraising efforts, these future healthcare professionals worked to educate the community on the importance of early detection, mammography, recognizing the signs, and supporting those impacted by breast cancer.

This is exactly what grassroots fundraising is all about — local organizations, students, businesses, and community members coming together to directly support local patients and families.
