Drawing is a long-time hobby of Willie’s, and he stated that he draws on the back of the envelopes from the mail or just about any free space on paper he comes across. We love it when he shares his drawings with us. On the envelope below, he doodled memories from the past and told a great story to go with it.

We got to experience the nation’s only recorded discovery of a nursery herd of Columbia mammoths, not even two miles from us. The huge mammoth in the photo stands about 14 feet and weighs 20,000 pounds! We all decided we’re happy they don’t roam around Waco, Texas any longer.
