FOR MEN WANTING TO GET STRONGER AND PUT ON MUSCLE:
Although I have been helping people for years and years unofficially with losing weight and gaining muscle, In 2016 I decided to become more official and start reaching out to the general public.
WHY?
I was literally at the gym yesterday in Waco, Texas and was doing my stretches which happens to be near the cross fit equipment and training area.
Approximately 25 year old male personal trainer who is skinny...skinny as in not strong, is helping what appeared to be 20 year old quite skinny male work out.
The trainer was having him do pushups, different crunches, wiggle the rope, throw the heavy balls, etc...
I heard the young man comment that he was so stoked he finally was going to put on muscle and get strong!
A bit later trainer led the young man to they tread mill to run.
Tread Mill is great!
Cross fit is great!....but NOT when you are trying to get STRONG and PACK ON MUSCLE!
Hello men out there???
The worst thing on the planet for a skinny guy to be doing to gain muscle and strength is to go burn everything up on the treadmill!
Pushups to gain muscle and strength?
No!
Great for endurance and perhaps cutting up and defining muscle, but packing on the beef?? Absolutely not
SORRY, BUT TRUE!

FOR WOMEN WANTING TO LOSE POUNDS:
Although I have been helping people for years and years unofficially with losing weight and gaining muscle, In 2016 I decided to become more official and start reaching out to the general public.
WHY?
It truly bothers me to no end going to the gym and seeing serious people being misguided. I can't go to the gym every time I work out without seeing at least one 30 or 40 something heavier female being shown the absolute wrong thing to slim her down....IT BUGS ME!
Watching a 22 year male fitness personal trainer who is skinnier than most males their age ( skinny as in weak, no muscle and only because they are young, not because they know how to diet) make an overweight female sweat doing crossfit and pumping iron.
Ladies: Please! THIS WILL NOT HELP YOU SLIM DOWN. IN FACT, YOU WILL GET LARGER!!!
Weights are great!
Cross fit is great!....but NOT when you are trying to shed and lose 20, 30, or even more pounds!
You will get in better shape, you will get stronger, and you might feel a bit better, but you WON'T be fitting into smaller dresses and jeans.
SORRY, BUT TRUE!

Guys, Young Men: You get shredded if you have some weight to lose by doing certain things. If you are skinny or weak or....both, you pack on muscle and get stronger by doing certain things. Your personal trainer who is likely a guy and skinny and only had their certs for less than a year AND 20 something doesn't really have a clue how to help you.

Remember Ladies: The key is carbs and cardio....not calories and cross fit like your 23 year old personal trainer at your local gym might have you doing!
