Enkrateia House of Hope

Enkrateia House of Hope is a shepherd home created to meet the needs of women and mothers facing a crisis pregnancy and are homeless.

We serve the southwest Twin Cities metro area and surrounding small towns. Click below to learn more. Enkrateia House of Hope’s (EHOH) mission is:

1. Provide a compassionate, caring and faith-centered home for homeless expectant women during their pregnancy and mothers after the birth of their children .

2. Assist women in crisis pregnancy situations in learning skills that foster self-sufficiency and provide a vision of hope for their future.

3. Improve long-term outcomes of crisis pregnancies by providing women with resources to address their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, promoting healthy lifestyles during their pregnancy and after the birth of their children. EHOH wants each guest to know that her past does not define her. Her dignity, uniqueness, and value come from the Father, her Creator! Life is a journey and let us walk together!

When you donate your gently used household items, home decor, and clothes to Trending Upward Thrift Shoppe they give back to charities and non-profits like EHOH which benefit our guest moms and babies. Thank for you donating!

One of our moms and her baby have left Enkrateia House of Hope. Please pause and pray for them both as they move forward in their journey.

We still have a mom and baby in our home and we covet your prayers for them as well.

An amazing group at St. Hubert Catholic Church in Chanhassen is having a "Bake Sale for Babies" where all proceeds will benefit Enkrateia House of Hope! If you'd like to contribute any baked goods for the sale, please drop them off at the labeled table in the narthex anytime on Saturday October 25th (Mass at 5:15) or before either morning Mass on Sunday October 26th (8:30 and 10:30). EHOH is very grateful for our generous supporters!
