Happy Spring 🌱 I hope everyone is thawing out and getting outside as the weather warms up and back down with Minnesota Spring in full swing 🌿
Reminder that this is a great time to add in some dandelion tea and to be sure to be getting your minerals in your lemon water and to start adding honey/local honey (from last spring best option).
Spring is also a great time of year for massage and spinal flow as the body is in a natural acceleration (increased metabolism, liver detoxing, lymphatic system releasing…)
As our bodies shift with the seasons a natural detox of the liver is encouraged. Think bitter sour foods (arugula, dandelion greens, lemons) to help bile production as our body breaks down fats and detoxes the liver.
Lean into your bodies natural desire to eat lighter and go for that salad instead of the burger as our bodies are craving greens and seasonal vegetables (beets, garlic, asparagus, micro greens).
Spring also encourages stretching and movement so yoga, walks, stretching, running, dancing, anything that gets you moving in a way that stretches and gets the joints moving nicely. If anyone is interested in doing yoga and somatic movement classes please dm me or comment the best times and days so I can put together a regular class that people can attend.
